The Twilight Guide Empty The Twilight Guide

Post by Professor Corpse Wed Jul 23, 2014 4:25 am

After extensive testing I have finally done it, Solaire, I have made the ultimate testing instrument, the Twilight Guide test rubric.

The test will consist of either a match and a single, or 2 singles if the recruit cannot afford the time for the prior. If the recruit quits at any time during the test without good reason, said recruit is given an automatic Winged Kuriboh Bronze. You must tell your tester what you sided in during the match and must also show the tester your deck and extra deck.
A retest is 500HP.
Also, if the recruit is not confident in the deck(s) they possess, they are allowed to use the Starter Deck that was given to them on enrollment.
TCG/OCG cards are allowed.

Decks not allowed: Alternative/Automatic Win ("Exodia", Mill, Stall, Burn, etc.)

Tester's Obligations: Not only must the tester be aware of the recruit's actions, but must assist said recruit in any problematic matter that arises. Also for testers https://soaduelacademy.forumotion.com/t83-banned-tester-decks-testers-and-staff-must-read

Match Results: /100

Win/Loss Ratio
         0:2 = 0 P
         1:2 = 1 P
         2:1 = 5 P
         2:0 = 10 P
Aptitude(Skill of Recruit) =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Deck Consistency(Ease of access to resources) =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Rulings(Knowledge of cards and their effects) =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Behavior =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Awareness(Attention to own plays and plays of Tester) =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Side Deck=
        10 points
Siding(Adaptation and effectiveness of side in) =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Answers to Situation(Cards in deck that helped control Situation) =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Response(Response to Tester's plays) =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10

Each misplay will subtract 5 points from score

Single Results: /100

If Recruit Wins Single =
        10 points
Aptitude =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10
Deck Consistency =
        2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10

I think testerès shouldnèt be allowed to use certaind ecks as well, to give the testers a chance. In all my other academies Iève been in its usually standard for testers to be using lower tier decks. Testing with a helmet deck is just cheap.

Fixed... and funny coming from the guy using the most broken decks in the Academy

Hey normally I don't care, i hate banning decks in things like tournaments for exampel cuz if u went to a real tournament you would be facing those decks so its just not very fair or realistic. And new people joining shouldnt have to duel one of the strongest decks, but if they chose to use one themselves that should be fine cuz obviosuly they want to prove that they know how to play the game and if they already know how to play the meta game then the more power to them.

Death man this topic was closed off a while ago my friend and the problem was resolved lol We have a set list that testers can't use as well as a set list that testees can't use. I've made this list based on how often they can just easily pull of wins for the testers, because the testee gets no chance to show off their skills when sacked like that. And the decks banned for the testee are ones that show no real skill, organization or effort for a strategy.
